Advocating for Montana’s Building Industry
The Home Builders Association of Montana was created to promote and protect the building industry, advocate for its members at local, state, and national levels, and support members in growing their businesses. By forming a collective voice, local associations such as the Home Builders Association of Billings and the Montana Building Industry Association (MBIA) can lobby for beneficial legislation, create a more pro-business environment, and address challenges such as inefficient zoning laws.
Building Visions
HBA Building Visions is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and proudly serves as the charitable foundation of the Home Builders Association of Billings.
Established in 2022 by the Association’s Executive Officer and Executive Board of Directors, HBA Building Visions was created to strengthen and expand construction trades education, training, and career pathway opportunities throughout Yellowstone County.
Our mission is simple yet powerful: to build the future of the construction workforce.
Through scholarships, career start-up financial assistance, trades education, hands-on training, and career placement support—delivered through our Tools for Trades program—we help students and emerging professionals gain access to meaningful, long-term careers.
At the Home Builders Association of Billings, we believe that investing in workforce development not only opens doors for students but also supports strong communities by helping make the American dream of homeownership achievable for all.
