Local Industry


When a municipality investigates new fees and policies that impact the building industry, the Local Issues Committee is right there on the ground level helping to insure our industry doesn't realize a negative impact as a result of changes in fees or policies.

The Local Issues Committee meets with City of Billings and Yellowstone County officials every month to discuss opportunities and changes.  Because of these partnerships, the HBA of Billings is able to be proactive when it comes to local issues that impact industry professionals, home owners, and home buyers.  

We encourage HBA members to attend this meeting.  Membership on the committee is not required to participate in meetings.  The Local Issues Committee meeting takes place at 2:00 pm the second Tuesday of each month in the first floor conference room of the Miller Building, 2825 3rd Avenue North, Downtown Billings.  This is a great opportunity to learn about new and changing issues in the City of Billings and Yellowstone County, and discuss issues that affect your business.   We hope you will join us.
